We are an organization for people, not profit. Members are the heart of this credit union and the Board of Directors are the backbone. The Board of Directors are unpaid volunteers who believe in the credit union movement.

Windward Community
FCU was chartered in 1953 to serve the financial needs of the Marine Corps
Base Hawaii personnel. Since then, we've expanded our charter to service
people living in our community from Makapuu Point to Chinaman's Hat.
Unlike a bank where the bottom line is profit, our primary goal is service to our members. This is our philosophy, "Neighbors Helping Neighbors." A solid financial year for us means the distribution of revenue and earnings to the entire membership through low-cost loans, higher dividends and low service fees.
We are Federally Insured up to $100,000 by the NCUA (National Credit Union Administration).
